  • 1 cup baking flour
  • ¼ cup melted butter
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 ripe banana medium or large
  • ¼ tbsp salt
  • 1 tbsp vanilla essence
  • cup milk

Instructions

  • In a bowl, combine all the dry ingredients together - the baking flour, salt, sugar, and baking powder. Set aside.
  • In another small bowl, mash the banana. Add all the wet ingredients to the mashed bananas - the egg, melted butter, vanilla essence, milk - combine.
  • Gently pour in the dry ingredients mix into the wet ingredient mix. Mix to combine.
  • Heat up a skillet or griddle over medium heat, grease skillet/griddle with cooking spray. Add the pancake batter using a measuring cup. Cook until you see bubbles break on the surface then flip it over and cook on the other side. Take out of skillet and serve.

Notes

*Be careful not to spray too much cooking oil/ spray on your griddle or skillet. Too much oil will make your pancakes come out looking soggy.
*If you are cooking the pancakes using a skillet, it is better to cook them in batches. Do not overcrowd the skillet.
*You can freeze any leftovers. To reheat, warm them in the microwave.
