Moist Banana Nut Bread

- 3 bananas ripe
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 2 cups flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Preheat oven to 350f. Transfer bananas to a bowl and mash.
Mix bananas, egg, sugar, brown sugar, vanilla, cinnamon and melted butter. Combine.
Add in the flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix together.
Add the chopped walnuts, combine.
Transfer to a baking pan. Sprinkle some walnuts on top and bake for 60 minutes.
- Be sure to use ripe bananas to get the sweet unique taste of baked bananas.
- Substitute the walnuts with pecans if you do not like walnuts, or leave it out altogether if you have a nut allergy.
- These can be made into muffins. For muffins, bake for 30-35 mins.
